This position is for a mid-level Test Automation Engineer responsible for creating and testing automation cases, particularly focused on infrastructure and service monitoring. The role involves automation testing for both web-based and mobile applications, collaborating with Product Owners, and ensuring the creation of comprehensive test plans and cases.
Automation Testing: Perform automation testing for web-based and mobile applications.
Script Development: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
Test Case Creation: Create automated tests for web/mobile applications.
Requirements Review: Review requirements specifications and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
Test Planning: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Collaboration: Work with Product Owners to validate and review automation cases.
3-5 years of overall industry experience.
Experience in Software Test Automation (Web/Mobile).
Java experience.
Knowledge of web automation using JMeter/Selenium/Cypress/Postman (Selenium is a hard-core requirement).
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to understand front-end web code.
Some prior experience with the standard software development lifecycle.
Experience in testing SOAP Service, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
Good knowledge or understanding of different web/mobile/API security mechanisms.
Experience designing, developing, and running scripts to automate testing.
Experience with Dynatrace or any infrastructure monitoring tool.
