Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specializing in electrical contracting and public infrastructure projects, is hiring a Payroll & Compliance Coordinator / Payroll Compliance Specialist to support certified payroll operations for union electrical construction projects in California.
The company focuses on public works, prevailing wage compliance, certified payroll reporting, and union reporting. The role requires someone highly detail-oriented with strong payroll processing experience, specifically within construction, trades, or union environments.
Main Responsibilities
Process and support weekly payroll through Foundation software.
Review employee timesheets, classifications, job codes, overtime, and double time.
Verify compliance with prevailing wage and union rates.
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public works projects.
Support audits and compliance documentation.
Prepare union reports, fringe benefit calculations, and trust fund contributions.
Coordinate reporting for Local 440 / Local 477 and similar unions.
Must-Have Requirements
2+ years of payroll experience, ideally in construction or trades.
Strong knowledge of California certified payroll regulations.
Experience with payroll systems (Foundation, QuickBooks, or similar).
Familiarity with prevailing wage and union payroll compliance.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with LCP Tracker.
Knowledge of union payroll and fringe benefit reporting.
Familiarity with DIR, workers’ compensation classifications, and audit support.
Position Details
Full-time position.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Site-based role in Hermosillo.
Looking for local candidates only.
Gross monthly salary 25,900MXN
